What can I say about that ...... SLOPPY. That is the best way to describe the Fins last night. They had the chance to have a very commanding lead going into the half, if it weren't for SLOPPY play by quarterback Chad Henne. Henne threw 2 picks on drives that were going very well. He ended up throwing 3 all together, that is flat out unacceptable. The Special Teams weren't very Special last night either. They gave up a kick off return for a touchdown right off the bat, then gave up a blocked punt that led to a touchdown, and a blocked field goal which went for a touchdown. This happened all in the 3rd quarter, putting the game out of reach. As expected there was a coaching change as a result. the Dolphins fired their Special Teams Coordinator John Bonamego today. Here is a link from the Miami Herald, by Armando Salguero outlining what went down. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/dolphins_in_depth/2010/10/dolphins-fire-john-bonamego-hire-rizzi.html
As I stated last night in my blog this was a very important game for the Dolphins and they didn't come ready to play. This puts them in a very deep hole already in this young season. The only good thing is there is lots of football left to be played. But remember Fins fans there is a tough schedule staring the Dolphins right in the face, starting with Green Bay on October 17.
