NFL suspends Dolphins' Tony McDaniel for one game

The NFL has suspended Dolphins defensive tackle Tony McDaniel for one game for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, meaning he'll miss the game against the Patriots next Monday night. In February McDaniel was arrested on domestic violence charges stemming from a fight with his girlfriend. He reportedly pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was sentenced to six months of probation and ordered to attend counseling.
McDaniel has played in all three games for the Dolphins this season and played in all 16 games last season.
The absence of McDaniel will make the Dolphins' defensive line -- already thin because rookie Jared Odrick is injured -- even thinner.
